Hi
everyone!
Today I
want to tell you about some kind of people that I admire. These persons
inspired me to be able to do many things related with I believe. I think people that go against societies’
principles are so valuable, because to do this you have to suffer a lot; you
must to be even against yourself because society is inside each of us, but you
will be more loyal to yourself, so from some point of view they are
revolutionary.
The
majority of people hate this kind of person, and most of the time, they are
valued after their death, sometimes few years after, sometimes centuries after,
sometimes never. This doesn’t include only a political dimension; it includes
different aspects of life. For example, Van Gogh dies without the recognition
of his works, but in life he suffers a lot because his way of life and
expression doesn’t match with society, when society changes they are valued.
The case of Nietzsche is similar, the case of Norbert Elias too.
But today I
want to talk about women. Women who go against society are double revolutionary
in that sense, because they had to be always behind men, so they rebel against
men and society at the same time. Some of them are Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz,
Joan of Arc, Maria Montessori, Hannah Arendt, Simone Weil, Frances Yates, Susan
Sontag, Mileva Marić, Maria Curie, Julieta Kirkwood, Gayle Rubin, Margaret
Mead, Diane Arbus, Alicia Vega, Artemisia Gentileschi, Maryam Mirzajani, etc.
In History there are many examples. In the next post I will hope to write about
some of these women.

Hi my dear friend! what a great post! there is a lot of important people that have done a lot of important things for our development and we don't recognize their contribution all the time, so is great you do this to remind us about them!
